Congrats! I've shot a few of the benchrest 50 targets but it has been 10 or 15 years. Challenging and fun but can be frustrating as well. It takes a lot of concentration and skill to win a match, so ya done good! Bob

I really enjoy it. You are right on the frustrating part. The wind generated by a fly farting will move your bullet a long ways from where you want it to go. Learning to read the wind flags and having a 22 match grade (Lapua or top Eley pickings) ammo with a gun able to consistently shoot it is key to doing well. I just got lucky for sure, all the stars aligned and I hit the trigger when the wind socks and flags favored me doing so.

    Congratulations

I know zero about bench shooting but sounds like a challenge with what you were using and to win on top of it has to be a proud moment

Sounds like a lot more than luck.

    Savor the win!
