Here in western Illinois yesterday air quality was 155 this morning it is the same. Doesn’t seem to bother me that much, but a lot of people have been complaining their throat feels a little raspy.

Here in mid Michigan we are on our 3rd day of this crap. Readings have ranged from 190 to 218. Had rain Monday and rain and drizzle most of yesterday but that didn't do much to clear the air. The weather forecast is for a wind shift later today and hopefully that will clear it out. I really need to get some mowing done and maybe by the time it dries out a bit the smoke will have moved on, I hope. Bob

Came in big time last night. And today it's just a haze, serine, eerie and astonishing.

We have been dealing with this the whole month of June. Until it rains to the north it will continue .

Sounds like it's time for some painters tape on the perimeter of the garage door. Hopefully you get some wind to blow that smoke out and hopefully Canada gets some rain to knock the fires down.

Has been bad here as well. Those 200+ air readings have been the norm for several days. Just last week I had a (hopefully) once in a lifetime experience. Around 3 in the afternoon on the 22nd, was alerted by a loud knocking on my front door. When I opened it there was this skinny gal in full fireman's garb telling me that I had 15 minutes to evacuate my home!! Seems a wildfire had started about a mile away and the winds were moving in my direction!

Only had time to alert the wife and load up the dogs and the cat with a few important papers and GO! Drove to a local park and watched planes and a copter doing water drops. They had it out and safe to return home within 5 hours with a watch for flareups lasting another couple of days.

Have had a few days here in south central MN when limited travel was advised. Got to get rid of gas stoves but it's ok for the whole continent to be polluted with smoke.....

I feel for ya, just a few years back it was over 475 here and the scale only goes to 500. Fun times.

    Maybe just me

note to creepy Joe and the dems

Canada is dumping more smoke and pollution in the air than evey American could cause with camp Fires and gas stoves for the next 25 yrs

Send in the EPA and Greta T. to get them in line

It's been windy here today. I just looked out the window a while ago and the smoke is pretty much gone. Might change when the wind dies down though tonite.
