I loved Roy Rogers. Had a RR bath robe, jammies, pistol belt with six shooters, the works. Were good ol days.

    Joe........

I think we all did.........or at the time......wish we did. Pretty sure there's some old pics of yours truly, squirreled away in the family album.

I'd go back to those golden years of the USA.........in a heartbeat. 🤠

    Growing up I don't think I missed a show

Truly a classic in so many ways enjoyed the show and the singing

I was one who wanted to have the RR guns and gear but had to settle for the local 5 and dime knock off but same as all the local kids even the cheap version cap guns still allowed the neighborhood kids to have a ball

Will add in the dogs Bullet and Rintintin I know different show but still a G. Shepard I knew I just had to have one

We have had several over our marred life and miss all of them .

And Happy trails Roy and Dale

    RIP

For some reason I still get "Happy Trails" stuck in my head quite often! 😁

Took me a year or two to figure out the difference between a real bullet and a German Shepard! Memories from the diaper age!

His show was one of my favorites. The only thing that I couldn't wrap my head around was Nelliebell. Everyone rode horses except for Pat Brady and his Jeep.

My hero in the early 50s. Didn't care much for Roy & the Sons of the Pioneers singing in his movies, not enough action. Years later when I was in a Bluegrass band, his Pioneers numbers were some of our favorite material . Go figure.

Many many years ago mom/dad took me to see RR, Trigger, Trigger Jr and Dale at the Mosque in Richmond, Virginia. Can't remember which horse but one of them took a dump on the stage. Trigger would do anything Roy would ask him to do. What a wild night! ---Ray

Used to Fly Western Pacific Airline with a Cpt. Roy Rogers. When deplaning he always played Happy Trails.
