Went to the cove the other day of course Davy loves it. Turnip puppy stayed home. Plenty of crab shells and seaweed eaten lol and lot's of sand in the car... 🦀🦐

All of my Border Collies have hated water. It looks very strange to me to see a BC wading in the water.

My first BC HATED water. She was the only one exposed to a water trough. Ever since than I didn't have any kind of livestock tank so I don't know what my subsequent BCs would have done had they had the stock tank option.

Great pics and beautiful Border Collies Lady Rae!! Looks like they all had a good time!
The only dog I have ever had that disliked to swim was my ole Bassett Hound Bessie. She did enjoy boat rides though, but one time my deck boat conked out near an island on West Grand Traverse Bay. The shoreline was too rocky to push the boat to shore, so I had to put ole Bess on an innertube (she was quite a heffer to carry) and float her to the island.
Spent a couple hours there and finally I waved down someone to rescue us for a tow back to the launch.
If you look up "Couch Potato" in the dictionary, this is what you'll see! 😁 RIP my beautiful Bessie
