Second Job
Is pretty tough right now.........I do part time HVAC (10-20 hrs a week) helping a buddy who has his own business.
I also work full time in a meat market.
Anyway.........I just put in an 8 hour HVAC day and got home..........Fellas.............it is 105 degrees here in Texas. I am beat up.
More of the same tomorrow when I get out of the refrigerated meat market cutting room.

Ahh, da YewPee. I kid my friends on the Keweenaw about only having 3 seasons - Winter, blackfly and deer season. They sent me this to prove they have a summer season but my timing is always off and I miss it;

That summer in the UP is longer than the one we had in Maine. We had winter and the 4th of July for summer.

I am having a hard time imagining that it's hot in Texas.

I'm about 20 miles south of the Red River in north central Texas.
Yesterday and today it reached 104 degrees........but with the very abnormal humidity, the heat index reached 117 degrees. Very strange.......even for us.
I feel sorry for anyone who has to do ANY work in an attic these days.

Still burning a fire morning and evening here on the Olympic Peninsula. A high of 63° here today.

We hit 28° last night with an expected high of 59° today. Got the gas fireplace taking a little chill off this morning.

Predicting daytime highs -mid to upper 70’s, lows around 60 for the next 7-8 days. That is about 10 degrees cooler than normal for this time of year but I will take it.
