What are you shooting this weekend?
I'm off to the range on Saturday. With a fistful reloaded 357, I'm gonna shoot the Henry and the Kimber DASA. Probably take the 30-30 along, too. It's been a while since I fired it.
Who else has some range time this weekend?

Was going but the weather isn't cooperating. Got the new marlin 60 and the Ruger Redhawk that I really want to shoot, maybe next week.

When we get home Sunday, I might take my new 9mm out for a spin. I really wanted to go Bass fishing, but my son won't be around.

I have to go to the actual range and shoot my EDC ( Smith and Wesson 642 .38 special) for my renewal

It too hot to shoot outside. There is a shoot barrel out there in the hallway that we use to test fire guns, but it isn't really much fun.

killed a tree? had a family reunion yesterday and few of the older folks got to saying they hadn't been to family cemetery or the old home place in years, long story short off we went, went in one way and out another on the way out came to a small tree across the road, only 4inches or so around, didn't have a saw or anything handy tried to bend it out of the road by hand but it was just to springy, then remembered my pistol, 6 rounds of 357 and we snapped it off enough to bend it into the ditch and drive around, one couple was from atlanta and actually ask If I would get in trouble for shooting it, just had to shake my head and smile, I told them I only wounded it and it would be OK............

I worked Sat/Sun. Very busy Meat dept. days. (Fathers day weekend.)
I am off tomorrow. I've been hauling my Kel-Tec PMR30 (.22mag) in its Military M12 holster, in one of the milk crates attached to the rack on my ATV.
So probably the .22mag.
(30 rounds per mag, 60 rounds on hand in a quick re-load.) Gotta Love that. ๐๐

I put some rounds thru the Henry 357 and the 30-30. Also a few thru the Kimber revolver.
that 30-30 is so much fun to shoot! It will always be the very last gun I part with.

A couple years ago, while at my LGS getting my Ruger .44 mag Carbine scoped, a guy was receiving a Henry .357 Lever Action. He was nice enough to let me hold/handle it. I was very impressed. Knew I would own a Henry one day.
Last year on my B-day, I bought a couple nice Firearms. One was a Henry Steel Side Gate. 44mag lever action. I consider it one of my nicest firearm.
Kevin which Henry .357mag model do you own?

Brass Big Boy without the side gate. Full length. The only problem I have with it is the ejector. It chucks empties so far away, itโs hard find all the brass for reloading! ๐
