The more 20V Dewalt tools I use, the more I really like them, so I plan to sell my existing 18V Dewalt tools. I realize that I could buy battery adapters, but I don't want to mess with them since it would only add more weight to an already heavy tool. Tools are in good shape, along with 3-18V batteries and a charger. What is a fair price to ask for them in a garage sale type setting? I would sell them individually or as a set, either way.

I don't think you'll regret that move. I started with their 18's and switched to the 20's. The only downside is the dang OEM batteries are just silly expensive. The 60V/20V Flex Volt stuff is nice and gets you into some of the bigger toys.
Quite a few years ago I got one of their 7 1/4" 20V miter saws from IdahoBound. (Where's he been?) Of the three miter saws I own that one has become my 'go to'. With a thick blade it makes better finish cuts than either of my 12" saws.

faceb marketplace is good to move them. Not worth alot. Just consolidate and move on

I went the other route toad67. I have quite a few 18V DeWalt tools and like them fine. The problem I have is my fingers are old/sore and I can't remove the batteries without a struggle. I bought the adapters and so far just two 20V 6AH batteries. Weight isn't an issue and the single button release isn't either. I just couldn't justify starting over with new 20V tools.

Todd, my new "Road Bike," (ATV) is for my local Holler road area only.
Now I could fire up my Dual Sport BMW, rigged w/a plethora of high end Touring accessories and roll that way.
It's been awhile since I've done a long Touring ride. 🤔
*Took the BMW up and down the Coast of Maine and Nova Scotia a few times.
