I took my State Board of Licensing exam this week and got the results (I passed). I am now licensed to practice nursing in 38 states

My eldest Step Sister was a nurse until she retired a few years ago. She had a lot of stories, some funnier than hell, and some that ripped your heart out. Just don't dwell on the sadness and be sure to tell us about the funny ones.

ones said nostates are excluded?Kentucky is in a compact with 37 other states that recognize each others license, there are another nine states pending joining the compact. Then there is Calif, Michigan and one other state that doesn’t participate.

Darryl said "Well, if I touch my leg, there's pain. I touch my arm, pain. I touch the top of my head, pain. Am I dying, doc?"
The nurse looked at Darryl and said "Looks like your finger is broken, you idiot."

It takes special people to be in the medical profession.I am not one of them. I passed out when they took blood in boot camp and got dizzy watching the first aid film.

Congrats.......as the State Boards are NO cakewalk!! 🤯
Although it's been over 23 years ago....I can still vividly recall helping my wife, before her finals and boards. Suffices to say that the "flash cards" were well worn.......by the time she crossed the finish line.
