Looks amazing but I’m pretty sure I’d bash my shins to pieces on that frame

Makes my back hurt just thinking about carrying that thing up a set of stairs.

Not to mention the flopping that would be required to get OUT of the bed and clear that shelf.

On the flip side.....nice seat for putting on socks for those of us who can no longer reliably bend over and stand on one foot!

It was to be a problem, a larger mattress or a skill saw would rectify it.

Not that I’m afraid of much, not a massive one-eyed octopus hovering over my bed may take some getting used to.

Would a 2-eyed one make it better?

interesting bed agree way out of thing I could image the cost of

they say money can not buy happiness,

but I know for sure being broke sure will not buy any thing 😥

but I would like to give having a boat load of money just so I could compare and make my own call 🤑

I'll pass, I'm too clumsy to climb onto that thing.

While I admire the work and craftsmanship that went into creating the bed it's not really something I'd want. The floor, on the other hand, is gorgeous! Look at the width of those boards!

Looks amazing, but it's like a sultry super model - not something easy to live with.

I have no doubt that headboard would fall over on me the first night.

Great looking but at my age I would roll over to get up, fall on the wooden edge, crack a couple of ribs, and my wife would send me to the home. 😕

You're not? 🫨 I thought you retired young...

Might be hard to get into the house. You could sleep in the garage.

I'll have to say it's absolutely beautiful. Someone knew what they were doing when they cut and dried that slab so it wouldn't check or split.

It looks like some kind of cedar?

Looks extra firm to me. I'd have to cut it and put in a hinge to make it adjustable. 😲

Just because something is beautiful to behold doesn't mean it is going to be comfortable! JMHO

I am glad there are people out there that like that sort of thing.

That's for people who value Wow! more than OW!

We spend around 30% of our entire life in a bed. Most sleep on a cheap mattress

Buy the best mattress, 800+ count cotton sheets with pillows that make Jesus sigh

That wood is drop dead beautiful but what you sleep on is what matters to your old tired body
