Meet Rosie and Meatloaf
My son asked for a Maine Coon kitten for his birthday. So, I went on the hunt and found a local reputable breeder. While going through the process my husband decided he wanted one as well. So, here they are! Rosie comes up during the day while my son is at work….kitten play dates are the best. They are not brother and sister….she is two weeks older than our male. He has 6 toes on each foot. She is fearless and just might breathe fire one day…..he is a total Poo Bear.

Meatloaf? Named after the singer or a favorite food? Cute kitties! (I can honestly say, though, that I have never met an uncute kitten, or puppy, or calf, or....)

The grey one is Larry's and he is the one that named him Meatloaf. He keeps saying "Cat out of Hell" (from the Meatloaf album Bat out of Hell) and laughing like that is the funniest thing ever. I had to let him have that name because he just loves that kitten and they are buddies now.
I thought it was funny when I found out that Liam's kitten also sleeps across his neck.....like the male kitten does with Larry. That is so cute now....but wait until he is 25 pounds and tries to keep doing that.

I have never heard any thing bad about the breed of main -c -cats other than some get big .
I was never a cat person but the wife does like / love them so over time I got use to them

I was going to mention that a friend has 2 - 25 pounders. She just learned that there is a special food for them that has large kibble.

That is a vintage Christmas tree...one of the aluminum silver jobs. I haven't used it in several years, so I told Larry he could put it in one of his antique booths for sale.....which means it will sit in the middle of the living room for the next three weeks until he gets around to dealing with it.

Meatloaf is a lone stallion of the prairie today.....he has had adventures in just about every room of our house, climbed on everything he could and visited everyone trying to get some work done. Its been hilarious. He has already made himself right at home.
