Yard sale find
Stopped at a road side yard sale / flea market this afternoon. Scored a as new Gerber RexApplegate combat folder knife . Appears to have never been sharpened past the factory edge Paid $10.00. I see them going at around $200 ? on another auction site .

AAAAH! that's an assault knife! Made out of that shiny stuff and black not wood material. It's probably even sharp.

I grew up outside of Peoria. It was a different city 50 years ago, other than when I had to go for training or visit some family member in a hospital, I have tried to avoid it for the most part.

No gun stuff. The guy i bought it from is a picker/ full time junker/ sales type. He just doesn't know much about knives . Always has a few , mostly cheap China junk but occasionally a good one like the Gerber shows up . He cuts me a deal .I sell him my surplus yard sale typestuff from time to time ..
