S&W 642 Holster Carry Recommendations -
Having read/followed a bunch of different "CCW," recommendations here, I know the 642 has a big following. (My current predominant carry piece.)
My two favorite carry holsters are, the Houston RP-51. A small Kydex OWB holster, with a nice curved paddle that rides your hip and connects/overrides your belt. A positve "click," when seated. A forward (FBI) cant. Perfect for this handgun. (My favorite.)
My next is a holster by "Cross Breed Holsters," (IWB) w/a contoured leather band to spread the contact, a small Kydex retention holster for the 642, riveted on. Two swiveling adj. Steel clips to fit your belt and adj cant as to your preference. (# on the back in ink 72974.) [May or may not be model specific.]

i use a uncle mike pocket holster. Does everything i need it to do .

Give me a Desanti's leather holster as first choice for anything.

Blackhawk #4 pocket holster for my nearly identical model 638.
