Out of so many internet news stories where someone asks about : I'm 60 and have 2.5 million in the bank and a 4000 dollar a month annuity , home is paid and have no debt. Would I be safe to retire yet? 🤣🤣

  Surprisingly, that pretty much describes me, except i'm 76 and have been retired for 16 years.

  I retired just before turning 60 with a lot less than that. Living the good life.

  Retired at 57 (wasn't my idea, laid off). Made possible by not having debt.
