I have know that for years as a young kid like 55 yrs ago my grandmother use to buy thoes rag magazine newspaper that I don't remember the names of that use to be at every check out lane with crazy articles in them
Sad part She told me all that has to be true the law was if they printed it it had To be the truth .

What is the likelihood of an advanced civilization that has mastered interstellar space flight and able to navigate the universe with faster than light technology, would have an oops and crash land here on Earth?
My theory is that when they get here they discover Twitter and are busy texting instead of looking where they are going. Hey it could happen, texting causes car accidents why not flying saucer crashes! 😀 Bob

Just my 2 cents
The universe is so vast well beyond our imagination or understanding
The odds are many life forms have to be there and some have come and gone in the history of it
But the distance is so vast no way will we ever come into contact with any one or thing
Even at light speed it would be hundreds even thousands of years to cross such distances with what we can even guess at maybe a "worm hole theory "
And like proven in our history any advanced civilization comes into contact with a more primitive one guess who looses
I know it's just not me , by the popularity of the shows like star trek were and are so popular they open our imagination and help fill that itch we have about the unknown
Other than the earth being some advanced civilization's ant farm project LOL
if they can visit us they are so far advanced we cannot fatom

Or hang around to play hide and seek. The probability life is out there approaches 100%. The probability they came a minimum of 30 light years to play here, not nearly so high.

Plus......if you add in the fact that "Man" has existed on Earth for such an infinitesimal amount of geological time.............finding extraterrestrial life would be virtually impossible. Other worldly civilizations(and worlds) could conceivably emerge and die out.......MANY times.......before Man even walked upright.
