Have a guy wanting to sell me 03 Winchester 03 auto I know it’s been redone he is asking 875.00 what y’all think is that Winchester engraving?

  82877 is serial number so that should make is a 1930 year manufacture

  I would be hard pressed to part with $875. for this refinished rifle, if it looks better in person I would still be in the 450/500 dollar range and at that I would be wanting it very badly to pay that much. jmho

  I am not an EXPERT. Nor do i play one on TV, but that pattern engraving looks 99% not factory.
