Remember the days when
Most posts were on page two by the day after they were posted? Seems there are a lot fewer active posters these days. Just the usual suspects.

There was only one mod. Don

There are definetly less postings and especially about firearms.

We have lost many to attrition, especially when the formats changed. Peoples interests change also thru time . And some were run off by overzealous nitpicking .

Basically, your correct, but most all that were banned were duly warned and frankly the forum is a much better place without them. Dont see the sense in dropping names.
I'm sure mods would agree sometimes just doing your job means pissing people off.

Oh yea, remember the heydays well. Used to be, if you posted something and went out for a while, you’d have to search through the pages to find the thread again.
Of course, back then we couldn’t check from our smartphones like I am now. Had to wait for that dial-up connection to (hopefully) go through. Haha!

I’ve only been here a little while but I’ve seen a few legitimate members get the ban hammer. Each time it was earned.
i do miss the post from some folk who have passed, though. Nanuk is one of them. And of course Mark C.

To me
Just like good old days of criusing town a coupe hours to make a complete trip of about three miles then down to about 10 minutes toward its demise . I miss thoes glory days dearly
Same on here use to be pages and many reply in a single day now just a trickle of what it once was
All good things seem to just fade away

We have had several threads in ref to what happened to so and so, wonder about....
NOT one mentioned within those threads was banned, but rather lost in the transition to the new forums.
I even went in and looked up each member listed and edited the thread with reason of their absence next to each.
You obviously miss them way more than they miss you as they never bothered to re-sign up.
Find someone else and move on.
