There's a shotgun range nearby. I called them today to make sure its open this weekend (it is). I also asked if they allow people to bring their own mechanical clay throwers.
"No, you have to rent from us", I was told.
Disappointed, but satisfied with the answer, I went back to their website to see what else they offer. You can buy some clays there, you can shoot 5-stand, and....

I'm the type that'd call 'em back and tell them to read their own damn website. The older I get the less tolerant of fools and liberals (but I repeat myself) I've become.

Reminds me of an incident I had in a telephone store. Went in and selected a couple of accessory items and got in the checkout line. Clerk asked if I had signed in. I said no i found my items and I'm ready to check out. "Sir, you have to sign in so we know you are here."
The items stayed on the counter and I was out the door.

I was in a jewelry store last weekend looking for a watch that is only sold in certain retailers. I told the assistant manager, who was the “watch expert”, the model I wanted with a black dial and white sub dials. He told me that model did not come in that configuration. After asking him if he was sure and him replying “ I am certain” I pulled up the manufacturers website and showed him the model. Needless to say I will be visiting another authorized dealer.
