Just use a rattle can of matte black paint. Don't forget to do the grips and when you are done it will almost look tacticool! Bob

A fairly competent engraver should be able to blend in that scratch on the side just above and to the rear of the trigger.
On the other hand, that Magna-Porting (?) just under the front site and along the top of the barrel does look pretty cool.

Cut the barrel back to about two inches grind off the sights so they don't get hung up when pulling it out of your pocket
Dont forget grind off the serial number Just in case
.. then a plain flat black non glare rattle can finish
Oh tape the grips up like they did in the godfather movie . to hide your finger prints now DNA may be a bit more difficult
Serious nice looking pistol way back in high-school another class mate who like guns also , was a huge python fan and tried to get me to buy at least one or more

Before the camo add a few nicks and gouges. They will add character and greatly increase it's value.

Folks I was at a gun auction a couple years ago. Several Pythons of various types.
There was one that looked like it had been drug though miles of gravel roads, parkerized and that hunk of junk brought 1800.00. Bidder had caught snake fever for sure.

Nah, you got to Cerakote that thing and cut it for an optic. That’s all the rage! The youngsters will love it. That way, they can feel extra hardcore when they put on their plate carrier, drop that Colt in a tactical thigh holster, and head to the grocery store for a gallon of milk. 🤣
