How do we get decent, intelligent people back into being in charge of things?

I don't know, but it is gone so far out of whack that decent people don't want anything to do with it.

    Vote buying.

No wonder NYC has such high percentages of registered DEMOCRATs.

Truth: Some people work for a living. Others vote for a living.

Great opportunity for a sting operation. Everyone who shows up for the pay off gets put on a plane and permanently is deported to South Sudan where they can learn all about their culture.

We know it sure cannot be accomplished by voting, especially within last 4 years or so.

The type of people you asked about getting back in charge are the minority now days.

    Shameful/disgusting in America.

Gee, I can't figure out how we could possibly have an entire generation of people that believe the World "Owes" them? 🤔

@Grasshopper nails it, "The Death of America, Slow and Sure."

Here's some more from New York. This one proves crime does pay!

"New York City has agreed to pay more than $13 million to settle a civil rights lawsuit brought on behalf of roughly 1,300 people who were arrested or beaten by police during racial injustice demonstrations that swept through the city during the summer of 2020."

New York City agrees to pay $13 million to 2020 racial injustice protesters in historic class action
New York City has agreed to pay more than $13 million to settle a civil rights lawsuit brought on behalf of roughly 1,300 people who were arrested or beaten by police during racial injustice demonstrations that swept through the city during the summer of 2020. If approved by a judge, the settlement, which was filed in Manhattan federal court Wednesday, would be among the most expensive payouts ever awarded in a lawsuit over mass arrests, experts said. The lawsuit focused on 18 of the many protests that erupted in New York City in the week following the killing of George Floyd by a police officer in Minneapolis.
