Hadn’t seen this picture until tonight. Amazing this officer was able to quickly react and take out the threat. Hats off to him!

Yep. Folks familiar with my favorite book will note that he appears in the novel as "David Richards" and the name of the body armor company is changed from "Second Chance" to "New Lease", but that is the guy mentioned in Unintended Consequences. Quite the fellow.

Looks clearly like a Desert Eagle .44 to me.
