Lady friend is cruising the Columbia River and took photos of this gal digging/picking numerous objects from the shallow bottom. She was tossing them on the downriver side of a protruding rock.
Pure speculation leads me to believe she’s harvesting mussels or some type clam.
Anyone have any ideas ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, besides a better quality photo !!! 🤣😎

Around here in Michigan, people collect mostly pretty rocks and Petoskey stones. We call them Rock Hounds.
