Oakie, I spent a year in NJ and pretty much had a good time. I was stationed at Ft. Monmouth and would go to Red Bank & Asbury Park often. But that was in the mid '60's and things have changed.

To be honest, I have never traveled to North Jersey. To us farm people, that part of NJ is the city. South Jersey has not changed a whole lot since the 60's. Mostly just pine barons, farms and great produce stands. We are also the blueberry capital of the world. Miles and miles and blueberry and cranberry farms, surround south jersey.

with new jersey gun laws I see no reason to ever go
and I keep thinking about the TV mob show that supposed to be based there.
