If I didn't already own a factory heavy barrel target 10/22 I would take a hard look at this one.

My rambling about them
Great rifles no doubt I gave both my sons one when they were about 12 yrs old Or so . And both still have them
I think I have 4 or 5 myself in various configurations as in stocks barrels ,and ss and blue I have one that has a m1 carbine dress up set aftermarket parts kit
at first glane It looks like a m1 carbine one of the mods on here had or still has one and why I got mine : spider" posted photos of his some years back
Also for me and many others for yrs they were the poor man's AR15 back when just a few manufacturers were making the Ar 15 ball park of at 800.00 or so a pop like colt .
The 1022 Every part could be updated or changed out
Then the bottom fell out on AR style riffles and parts .

If it were sold by Ricci, maybe. Matwor once told me the 10/22 was the mans Barbie doll. Then came black rifles.

Mine is stock except for a Kidd trigger and a scope. Shoots better than anyone has any right to expect it to.
