amazing when you have so much money you forget little things like a RR

it sounds like sounds like the old song by Joe Walsh

    lifes been good to me

I have a mansion, forget the price

Ain't never been there, they tell me it's nice

I live in hotels, tear out the walls

I have accountants pay for it all

They say I'm crazy, but I have a good time

I'm just looking for clues at the scene of the crime

Life's been good to me so far

    My Maserati does 185

I lost my license, now I don't drive

I have a limo, ride in the back

as for me I have a 1990's something chevy pick up rusting behind the pole barn but I knows it there any way 😲

Can you imagine that parking ticket in today's prices?😱

25 year old Rolls probably wasn't worth the parking and shipping costs that he paid back then. Couldn't have been sentimental reasons if he didn't even know he owned it. Makes you wonder how some of these rich folks accrued their wealth. Bob

He was also in "The Wild Geese". Part of his contract was that he was only paid half up front and he couldn't drink until the shooting was finished, then he was paid the rest.

Irish, huh? I, too am Irish.

It is so hurtful to us Irish, this cruel stereotype that we are a bunch of drunks.

Like the name of the police vehicle with which they haul the drunks to jail, the "Paddy Wagon."

In 1870, the horse drawn police wagon arrived at the jail in New York City, with 15 drunks on board. Turned out, fourteen of them were Irishmen named Patrick, for which the nickname is "Paddy."

    So hurtful.

    Perhaps you can get reparations?

My wife is 93% Irish. Been over there MANY times. Fun times. We spent 3 hours once at their "city hall" trying to find birth certificates for her grandparents. A gentleman came over to us and asked in a heavy Irish brogh if we were looking for birth certificates. And asked if they were born prior to 1900 as they were, and told us there wouldn't be any recorded birth certificates as the British didn't keep Catholic birth records prior to 1900🀨

Ireland was neutral during WW II. But thousands of them went to England to work in manufacturing. Angela's Ashes is a good read.

I was being facetious when I pretended to be insulted by the stereotype that we Irish like to get drunk.

After all, what is an Irish Seven-Course dinner?

    A potato and a six-pack.

He played a good part in "The Count of Monte Cristo" with Jim Caviezel. A good movie worth watching!
