Would be easy to check for a bullet in the chamber?

The next best thing is always the ticket. But to where?

I agree would solve the 1st slide pull back if any one has a problem that would sure help

Many yrs ago my dad had a 25 auto Beretta? Maye a jet fire ? It Had a tip up barrel

I don't remember much about it but he traded for a German made 25 auto because the grips got his attention

I don't even remember the name even though I have it in the safe

It's very small and I think has a stylistic D on the wood grips

I remember dad thought it was amazing because it did not have grip screws

Not that he ever took one apart cleaning was the same way lol and I think reading years ago the grips are held in place by a release inside the mag well

My back up to my every day CC is an NAA. It goes with me everywhere except the shower. Always carry at least one reload. And to dispute Colonel Cooper five.22 hollow points are better than five fingers rolled up. And I have broken my hand once.

That would be D for Dreyse Ditch.

OP, yes my wife does the tip up barrel Beretta Jetfire 26acp. I like the idea of her not having to cock with small hands and she love it. So the Girsan is a great pistol with an idea that's been around for decades.

Beretta made a tip up 22 labeled 950B and called a Minx. I heard they now make one in 380

Beretta is also making the Cheetah again, another .380 with a tip-up barrel.

I don't believe they are making the tip up barrel model. To my knowledge that is the discontinued Cheetah model 86 and only 380 beretta has made with a tip up barrel. However the Girsan looks very interesting. I have several of their pistols and have no complains with any of them.

No, beretta discontinued the model 86 .380 with the tip up barrel years ago. I believe that if a person is healthy and choses to carry a semi auto pistol, they should be able to rack the slide, but there are folks who have physical problems that were solved by the old model 86. I think the EEA model MC 14T is made in Turkey and will probably be a good gun.

Wife has two Berettas with tip-up barrel, a 21A Bobcat in .22LR and a stainless 3032 Tomcat in 32ACP. DA operation makes both ideal for her as she has difficulty racking a slide. Bobcat needs higher velocity ammo like CCI Velociter to function reliably.

LOL! I don't know what the heck I was lookin' at! I could have sworn I read that the Cheetah had a tip up barrel. Must be the old-timers kickin' in.

Cool gun and option for those who have trouble racking a slide, like you mention Joe. Thanks for sharing this!

And here it is in action with a female shooter that appears to be new to the gun and/or shooting generally.
