The size of those long-horn cattle isn't truly appreciated until you're face-to-face. My first experience was when we moved to TX. Went hunting with a friend on his cousin's ranch. As we walked through the field, a big group of long-horns saw us. Next thing I knew, it was a full stampede as we ran for our lives across the field and up to the house. We thought they were trying to kill us, but turns out that the cows were just really excited because they thought we had snacks. They were actually really gentle, and after sharing my box of Wheat Thins, the long-horns and I were fast friends. 😁

One of the neighbors down the road has a long horn in his pen. I laugh every time I go by, but NOTHING like that.
