If you find that perfect place where it doesn't get cold and it's dry year round, please let know so I can pack. 😀

I see an RV in your future. Drive around, find good weather, explore the USA.

and then let us know where that utopia is that you’re looking for. 😁

The weather here in Minnesota used to weed out the riffraff but with the warming trends.....?

Seems you're looking for Heaven, sadly you won't find it here on Earth, every place here has it's drawbacks.

STRIKE Illinois off the states. Start whittling away and go from there.

Well I know Texas is cold at night in the winter... I just mean a mild winter

Florida is not for you if you don't like humidity

If you live around good people, it's amazing how much weather you can tolerate.

Also consider southern NM. Dry, mostly warm, sometimes fiery, but no grass much. In the Hill Country look around Fredricksburg and Boerne.

If I were forced to move to Texas, my choice would be Alpine.

several years ago we spent a couple of months in the 'hill' country (Fredericksburg area), nice but it does get cold sometimes. Now we 'winter' in Az. (Bullhead city area).

Tejas. Got a funny story. A life long Californian moved to Tejas not knowing nothing about the state. Only to learn that state has all 4 seasons and all "natural" disasters with bad drivers. On their first year they saw it all but they were stuck like Chuck.

Personally I'd wait until 2024 to see if newsom becomes the president then the whole US will become California.

I know a guy yapping about New Mexico. To this I wonder why bother? It's basically California. Another guy I know refer to us Californians as cockroaches. To this I understand his point but I think we're more like what Agent Smith referred to the humans being as a viruses.

    Define 'cold'.

What our southern folks might think of as freezing cold those of us up north might refer to as a bit nippy but still T-shirt weather.

We would love to have you here in upstate SC,but I think it's about full. I have been here best part of 71 years and have never seen so many people.

I can only think of one place where you won’t have to content with the cold all year round and there’s always a nice breeze.

    Jamaica.

    I can take cold.

Just no more pouring rain (a whole winter) or snow.

If we could only go back in time.... San Diego my home town was perfect place....

And it's not just about leaving California it's about our area being over run....

If I had lots of money I would live in San Diego in a heartbeat. If I had lots and lots of money I would live in La Hoya

I should have stopped bragging about Utah 20 years ago. We now have a housing crisis because so many have moved here - or are trying to. That's on top of the water crisis, of which there simply ain't no more.

"Define 'cold'."..........well, being IN Wisconsin, any time there isn't snow on the ground it's tee shirt and BBQ weather. so, by ''cold' I meant snow on the ground. also in Texas they don't believe in culverts, every 'rain' the dips in the roadway are lakes or rivers.

I'm sure the Lord will lead us.... A lot of it depends on our animals. We need more than 10 acres.... Old horses, dogs ect. Dad is retired and I can always get work somewhere or start my own business...

Mom and I were talking about when I could make a trip to Texas... We have a good friend in Kerrville and family in Boerne. Several forum friends outside of San Antonio.

I have been lots of places in the US and California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah are about the only places that are consistently warm without humidity. But in the mountains in Nevada, Arizona, and Utah (which there are plenty), you will get winter.

Tennessee would be my first choice. If you want hot, then Texas is for ya. My sisters live in Humble and Katy. Both opposite sides of Houston. Mom and Dad have a place in Fort Worth , and in PA. My sister in Katy says they get three kinds of hot there. Hot. Hotter, and Microwave hot.

The sad part about California is, It is probably one of the most beautiful states in the country, but has too many Liberals trying to destroy it.

Another beautiful state with mild weather is, North Carolina. Gorgeous state and very nice horse country. Affordable living too, like Tennessee.
