Ken I can't get myself to watch these videos and movies. Too hard. Living 100 miles from NYC and 120 miles from DC, we were right in the center of everything happening. We lost two friends in the towers and one friend that was a NYC firefighter, from our old neighborhood. I cannot fathom what they went through. The worst was seeing the people jumping and the firemen hearing the bodies hit the metal awning. Now to have a President, that let our 13 service personnel die at the hands of the Taliban, on the withdraw, only to stand there at Dover as they unloaded those metal caskets, Looking at his watch ,and wonder what ice cream he was going to have tonight, enrages me more. God Bless the USA

my son and I visited NYC a few years back and we were at ground zero on 9-11 for the annual ceremony

They did a really nice job creating the memorial pools

I remember some poster no longer here posting photos from his deck that day. That sent me to the TV in the zoo library. There are no words after that.

Benghazi also share the date. Might as well add August 30, 2021to this list of FUBAR.

Same. That day changed everything in a way that can never be undone.

There are two dates now that will live in infamy; December 7th 1941 and September 11th 2001. Growing up in my neighborhood almost every adult was a veteran of WW2 and held an animosity towards the Japanese. They called it a sneak attack, later people would refer to it as a surprise attack, either way a lot of people died that should not have. I think we all will remember where we were on that day for the rest of are lives, and that’s good, it would almost be sinful to forget and brush it aside. What angers me more than anything, is that Al-Queda did not attack a military installation like the Japanese, they attacked civilians with the intent of how many people they could kill.

They said that there would never be another Pearl Harbor, well there was on September 11th 2001. And if we don’t secure are southern boarder there will be another 9/11.

I agree with the above waltermoe. (But) The entire World witnessed and was subjected to a devastating Biological Attack (Wuhan Flu) and it was swept under the rug.

The World should have held China accountable. IMHO.

*I distinctly remember the Chinese attempt to surreptitiously buy up the Worlds supply of essential Medical equipment and have it shipped back home (in the beginning) as they realized how serious this was. Screw everyone else.

I can no longer watch the repeats, it is just too painful. My wife Diane watched them until she passed away. In Monroe, NY I believe there were five who lost their life. They probably worked for Cantor Fitzgerald who lost 658 employees that day. They were above where the plane hit the North Tower. No one in the Company survived that day. I think one of the hardest parts was the look of anguish on my two kids face when they came running downstairs to tell Diane and me that our country was under attack. They no longer felt safe. God bless the USA and the friends and families of those who lost love ones. Never forget. -----------------Ray

China is currently our #1 enemy but let's not forget the Sauds have dirty hands too, they're sneaky and deadly even among themselves. They're the overlooked financier's of most of the evil going on in this world.

I agree @Oakie, the image that stays with me, is watching people jump to their death, rather than burn to death, on Live TV that morning. (Brought it Home.)

The 1st employee we let in the door, at 8:45-8:50 am told us a Plane/Jet, had just hit the Towers. We turned on the TV immediately.

We could step out onto the front lawn of our Store, (on Rt 17, in Paramus,NJ) and look to the Towers (about 2-3 inches tall) on the Horizon and watch.

Most of our employees knew people, or Loved ones in those Towers.

    An absolutely unforgettable day.

*The movie United 93, brought it all home to me again, from an Aviation standpoint. Those were some Brave people on that flight, once they realized "This plane is not going to land." and doing what was necessary to stop them from reaching their objective. (The Capitol.)
