My dealer is registered with GunBroker as a receiving dealer. When I win an auction is it still necessary for me to obtain a hard copy or for him to email his license to a seller in order to have a long gun shipped to him?

  not if he has a copy of the license on file with g.b. or he can e-mail a copy to the seller

  My dealer prefers to txt his FFL. He somehow has a note imprinted on the license re: the transaction.

  It's their choice, some dealers want a paper copy even if it is online also.
