360 Buckhammer
Anyone here bought one of the new Henry rifles in this caliber or shot one? Looks to be a good round and especially if you hunt one of the straight wall only states.

I bought a 300 blackout kind of for those reasons, but after having it, I think a lot of these new calibers are only to keep the money coming in. I really didnt need it.

I bought the 300 Whisper, before the blackout came around. Shot it a few times and sold it to my dad. He loves it.

So it looks like its parent cartridge is a 30-30??? Almost like a 38-55 but a little shorter??? Looks like a very interesting round to reload and shoot. I also like that Henry is making it. I like the lever action rifles. Be really nice if Marlin made one. I will have to put this one of my wish list of future firearms. Thanks for the post!!! Oak

Many Eastern and Southern states have shotgun only deer hunting zones. Some states now allow lower power rifles to be used, roughly 30-30 class power level. The ammo companies are bringing out new cartridges to meet the states new rules, which is often a case length maximum of 1.8 inches.
