    Well, if he likes the house otherwise he should position his offer with window replacement in mind, which will likely involve fixing related water damage and mold cleanup.

    Not a big fan of them. Most people/builders, don't go cheap on quality window. I will say that, windows and doors have been hard to find and are way behind in orders. Covid played a big part in this, as many places worked on a limited staff or completely shut down. Some builders were ordering a year in advance for both windows and doors. As Mr.P stated, you are going to have to deal with more than just leaking windows. A lot of damage is hidden behind that sheetrock😉

    I'm sorry, but yes to what Mr. P said. It can get real expensive the more damage is found, which you won't know until you rip into it.
