Care to post the link here? I promise not to run up the price.

Sometimes the new guys are just unfamiliar of the GB listing processes and the nuances of good customer service. If he doesn't get back to you, ping him again. If he still doesn't get back to you, walk away. That's what I'd do.

As for GB customer service, they take scams very seriously. But you have to work with them and follow their process. There's nothing we can do from this side.

It's pretty much 'buyer beware" to a point. If it doesn't feel right, walk away.

Check out the buyer's protection plan on the auction.

I think I'd walk away from this, as the seller seems pretty sketchy.

I've contacted a few new sellers recently, and most got back to me after they realized that the messages were going into their spam box. Remember, everyone starts with no feedback.

Just sent seller another message asking if he could get 3 close up pics of the left sides only of the receivers.

If still no response by the auction end time tomorrow… Adios!!!!

Does the seller have a green check by his user name, showing that he is a verified user? Also, what type of payment is he wanting a buyer to use?

Personally, I won't buy from any seller that isn't able to respond to reasonable questions about their auction in a timely manner. If they're the type to list it and forget it, I'm going to just pass on it in favor of a seller that will communicate.

    toad67,

Seller does have the white check mark inside a green circle and accepts USPS MO’s as payment.

    Mr. Perfect,

Inclined to agree with you on that for sure.

Probably fine, but agree with 100% with Mr. P.

I avoid NR sellers. Sure everyone starts somewhere but... you ought to have a few purchases under your belt with positive feedback to show me, that you are not a scammer.

I might miss out on a few deals over the years but oh well, I haven't been screwed yet.

I did the same thing last week. The Newb would not answer me and I tried three times. Nope, it would have been a deal but if they can't respond I ain't taking the bait.

Yes, I wanted another picture to make sure this was in their hands.

I would be looking somewhere else. If a newbie doesn't want to respond and promote his sales, I can't imagine what he would do if something went wrong. Everyone has to start somewhere, but also be attentive to the sales and progress of the the sale. That includes answering questions and maintaining your post.
