Was it in the intro for the original series that after the bullets bounced off, he ducked when the revolver was thrown at him?

One of my favorite shows. I don't know what model but I know it's a Smith and Wesson and he's faster than it.

Smith & Wesson Model M&P is the revolver seen fired at the beginning of the each episode of the series when the narrator states "Faster than a speeding bullet". This also is a frequent pistol seen in the series.

Just to pick a nit- that is not a Model 10 for one reason-

The show began in 1952. S&W did not start numbering their models until 1957.

While it would BECOME Model 10, at the time there was no model any number.

I enjoyed the show as a young kid but even back then, I could never understand how wearing a pair of glasses could become a disguise???

We played Superman along with Combat with the neighborhood kids out in the back yard. Didn't need much for either, as a bath towel for a cape or a willow branch for a machine gun seemed to work well with our BIG imaginations!

I watched today the color episodes and I think they changed the gun to a Colt....

The S&W was probably only in the Black and White episodes
