Summers over & school is back!
At least for my crew. Today is “meet the teacher” & class starts Thursday.
I hope every with kids has a great year!

My wife and daughter are both middle school teachers. They went back Friday for all the meetings and what not. All the students start back tomorrow.

August 28th for us. I went by the high school yesterday and it looks like they are scrambling to get the new parking lot in. Hopefully the weather holds so they can get it done. Not exactly sure why it was needed but they have to spend my property taxes on something. 😡Bob

It was always early September before we went back to school, back in the Neolithic era.

WOW. We don't go back until the day after Labor day. I know some kids go year round, with a couple weeks off, every couple of months.

So get this for times changing, my friends in Texas are in a school district where the kids don’t go to school every third Friday.
What in the world do you do if you’re a single parent or two working parents and little ones?

Our school system transportation is so bad (not enough bus drivers) they came up with this staggered start time. First day of school was Wednesday, some kids never got picked up in the morning and some kids did not get home until 10PM Wednesday night. It is so messed up they cancelled school for yesterday and today to try and get things “fixed”
heads should roll.
