We just bought three whirlpool dishwashers for our rentals. We had Maytag's before and one Bosch in our home. The Bosch gave us nothing but headaches, but that could have been a fluke. I personally like their products. The Whirlpools are all super quite and run well. The Maytags were all good too... Donna does her research before buying anything. Joe, I don't think you can really go wrong with any you choose. The new Whirlpool's we bought, I can't even here them running.

Stay away from Samsung it didn't even make a week and it's Customer No Service took almost close two months to finally get a replacement

Next door neighbor bought Samsung washer and dryer about 1.5 years ago. Really, really hi-tech appliances. For six weeks or more their tech's were there constantly. One day both machines carried away and they never came back. --------------------Ray

The biggest problem with dishwashers is the touchpad control strip on the top of the door, regardless of make or model. Every time you do a load of dishes, that electronic strip is exposed to the heat and moisture.

Gonna get the Bosch with touch pad on FRONT of door.

got a friend who used to own an appliance store sales/repairs. His big complaint with Bosch is they won't sell part to anyone but an authorized bosch repair center, and around here there ain't one close, He has to turn down repair calls for them........ hope your situation is different

We had them but never used them our first house had a brand new one which we never turned on and fifteen years later we sold the house. Same thing with a vacation house we had a brand new dish washer and never used it. Our current house had one but I pulled it out and replaced it with a cabinet.

I am with the above "we do dishes by hand," crowd.

    What's an automatic dishwasher?

    Ken on autopilot?

    Joe......

We've had two Whirlpool dishwashers over the past 38 years......with good results.

Whatever brand you go with, make sure it has a "food grinder" function in its design. High temperature wash is nice also.

BUT.......having said that......I think I may need a new water valve in ours.

    Hope this helps.

    Update on dishwasher........

The water valve checked ok.......seems there was "operator error".....the wife.

I downloaded a copy of the owner's instruction manual.......and am trying to figure out a way to "present" it to her.......without getting injured.🤯

    Hope she NEVER reads this......😎

Well, many brands are made by the same company and relabeled. All I can say for sure is that it's not my loving wife.
