Carrington event 1859
This is interesting. I wonder if we are experiencing some smaller events this year, and what the effects lf any,
similar events would have on our present weather and communications?

The carrington event was recorded in 1859 caused by sun flares. See YouTube
The event caused disruption of the telegraph system and other phenomena,
Northern lights as far south as Texas.
Disruption of the magnetic field of the earth which effected weather etc.

Thank you... never heard of that. Yes, we're so dependent on electronics it would totally screw us up.

An EMP. If we had an EMP today comparable to the Carrington Event the results would be catastrophic. It would knock out all cars and trucks, and the power grid.
In 5 days, no food in the grocery stores. Time to lock and load. Hope you got some food and water stashed away.
