Montana otter attack leaves 3 women hurt, including one flown to the hospital
Montana wildlife management officials don’t plan to take any further action. Otters can be protective of themselves and their young.

Them dang Montana river otters are way grumpier than sea otters, must be because they have to shovel so much snow

I don't do F-book, but apparently there is a post from the most injured gal, and apparently she got really torn up. It took 5 hours of surgery to get her fixed up.

we have quite a few otters here at the Jersey shore. Those little critters are very aggressive. They will come onto your boat and steal your bait or food laying around. They have no fear. We also have a ton of Dolphins, that will follow you all around the bay, begging for food.

Our otters here in Michigan are very friendly unless you mess with their dinner!

If you do, you better be well armed!! 😁

It's amazing to see all the articles about people messing with wildlife in National Parks .... They honestly don't know or are stupid.

The Otters I have seen in the Oyhee River have fled at the mere sight of the ATV. Generally they just swim away from the crossing places where we ride.

Montana otters wait until you're halfway across and then start shooting.
