How Can You Make $23,000.00 a Month ,,,,,,

Buddy of mine committed 3 months ago to buy a rifle from me, even ordered a Skinner peep sight for me to install. He doesn’t have a lavish home or drive a new vehicle, doesn’t drink or do drugs. He keeps assuring me he still wants the rifle. ($ 1100 Browning.)
He comes by quite often and we go to breakfast, lunch or dinner and he always buys, hope he’s not running a ‘tab’ and is going to present me a bill for $1100.00 ,,,,,,,, 🤣😉

If he is a true buddy I would ask him when he is going to come up with the cash for the rifle, if the answer is not good then sell it here on GB. If the answer is not good, move him to the acquaintance list.

Nope ,,,,,, he’s done more for me and family than 100 of those rifles ,,,,,, 😊 just don’t understand his monthly budget.

The last few years before I retired, I was putting the max allowed from each paycheck into a 401K. That combined with some other investments preparing for retirement sometimes had me a bit cash poor. Never to the point where I couldn't come up with 1100 bucks, but maybe where I would postpone buying a new vehicle for a bit. Is your friend nearing retirement? Bob

Describes my Brother to a T.
Walked away from a custom built McMansion in Richmond about 2009. I helped him move cross country to NM. He was towing his $63,000 Cigarette boat behind the Uhaul truck. I was driving his Jeep Grand Cherokee, w/a Trailer with his two custom Harleys.
When we got there and I heard him talking to their realtor, I just shook my head. We ended up looking at apprx 10-15 houses similar to what he walked away from. How he got a mortgage, I will never understand.
I live "below their standards," but everything I own is paid for. House, Vehicles, etc. Zero Credit card debt. Just retired.
We no longer communicate, as he went off on me, last year when visiting. I just delete his communication, as fast as they come in.
