Arizona was wanting to do the same thing, not sure if they ever passed it however.

Ain't that a hoot, enforcing laws while they are breaking federal and state laws! SMDH! Democraps have the strangest ideas!

And remember......these same places either defunded or by their actions, drove away countless GOOD LEOs. Now they say they need illegals because no one else will do the jobs! LMAO. "Makes since to me....what's your problem!" ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž

Well, the intent of the law seems to be limited to legal immigrants, permanent residents and DACA folks so they are not breaking federal laws. Unfortunately, the next step will be to make the jobs open to illegals. With all of the recent stuff our law enforcement has to put up with and now this, it is going to become even harder to recruit qualified officers.

My thoughts are if a non citizen wants to be in law enforcement some assistance should be made to help them with their citizenship first. But hey, that would only be logical so that will never happen. Bob

When I was in the Army, (79'-84') a "Non-Citizen," could gain Citenship by Serving. (If I recall correctly.) I liked/respected that.

While my initial reading of the OP, made me angry, typing my above sentence, changed my view. They are trying to "Serve." I respect that.

Would you prefer they are smuggling in Fentanyl? ๐Ÿค”

I can agree with what you are saying. I was drafted back in 1969. I never served with anyone that was not a citizen, but there were some from Puerto Rico. When I was in the army I wasnโ€™t I just immediately handed a rifle and told your good to go. There was as you know basic and AIT training, had while in basic there was a lot of class room study of the military code of justice. The same holds true when I was in junior high school, there was study on the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. If I remember right we were required to memorize the preamble of the constitution. I just feel that before someone can be put in the position of enforcing the law and being able to use deadly force against a citizen of the United States, they should be a citizen, and understand what it means to be a citizen of the United States.

As far as the fentanyl. There were over 80,000 deaths last year, and the year before over 100,000 deaths. There were 54,000 killed in Viet Nam.

JB is the most corrupt of all governors of Illinois and that takes some doing. The fat slob with the 85" waist" states Illinois is turning the page and going to become a "model" state. Yea, illegals now get by LAW, free schooling, free rent, free medical, free dental, free utilities . That be a fact. At the cost of Illinois taxpayers of course. The billionaire governor has yet to finance any illegals himself though.

Yep. No surprise here. He is a DEMOCRAT and illegals mean DEMOCRAT votes.

Should not surprise anyone Illinois is the number one state people are fleeing, CA & NY are close behind.

As ^&% as this Prickzer guy is would not surprise me if he sends busses to TX and other border states to bring them in.

How does an illegal swear to uphold the constitution?

How does an illegal swear to uphold the constitution?

Good question. Probably most of Illinois would like to know that as well. We have had to have a firearm owners identification card since 1968, and it was ruled unconstitutional, but yet we still have to have one to possess a firearm.

I lived and worked in Illinois for over 45 years......this revelation does not even hit the top 100 issues they have in that place.

Well, Governor PRICKSTER can just keep his state and I'll not spend any $$ there. We good citizens of the state of Misery have been formulating a plan to close the Missus Hippy bridges so the Illinoisians can't escape into our homeland.๐Ÿ˜‹

Unless something has changed in the last 40 years or so, Dallas PD will hire legal resident aliens.

Under Texas Civil Service, a Peace Officer must be a U.S. citizen. My PD is under Texas Civil Service law so anyone we hire must be a citizen.

Dallas has its own rules and is not part of the state civil service.

Doesn't say 'ILLEGALs'. Says non-citizens. Possibly not that much difference.

I guess Iโ€™m old school, and this is Illinois, and a rose by any other name is still a rose. Lol.

This reminded me of the latest music controversy going with singer Jason Aldean's song "try that in a small town" . A non-citizen cop pulling over an American, I'd like to see how that works out. ๐Ÿ˜€

Seen on news last night lots of them type people piled up in NY.

Just deputize them and let them help the mayor of NYC and send some to Chicago, St Louis, Kalif, Washington, Oregon.

and all the sanctuary places where they are welcomed.

I seem to remember the mayor of NYC was not against them coming to NYC awhile back. Offering free room and board.

What happened NYC mayor? (have you reached out to Brandon with your problem lately?)

Mayor of NY, have you thought about helping the Gov of Tx buy some more of them Orange floats, razor wire, tangle nets and snag lines?

Good question, I miss-understood if in serious doubt of their standing I'd probably let a good ole Southern Redneck lawyer handle it if there was any question of his nationality and take it from there. If they're a citizen and has the proper AKC adoption papers and I'm guilty I'd pay the fine, shut up after I mumble under my breath ๐Ÿ™„.
