Supper
Low country boil last night at the boars nest . Every other Thursday nite we have a
supper get together . It is a bunch of us who all grew up together and gather to fellowship. Most are in our 60s plus . 6 lbs of sausage with almost 10lbs of shrimp .plus taters and corn .

We do this once in a while. Looks great. Been about two years since our last low country boil. Maybe I will have to make this over the weekend.
Do you guys use andouille sausage, or regular sausage??? We prefer the andouille sausage and we are just getting done with our second harvest of jersey sweet corn. Perfect timing. ๐

I would have to go real easy on how much of that i ate the first time out , it looks like it could cause a lot of lower distress if you get my drift

We usually use several variety of smoked and fresh pork sausages. Really up to whoever is doing the cooking. We use Old Bay seasoning.

Did you spread out old news papers for the feasting?
If not you must do a do over for it to be a proper "boil"

Reminds me of "fish boils" we have up here in Wisc. REALLY good stuff.

That looks delish! Try that with Zatarain's shrimp boil seasoning to get a different (Cajun) flavor.
