Ak47 pin ??

Picked up an ak47 today, I'm home now and really looking it over. It has a spring loaded pin through the receiver right below the button to take the dust cover off.

I'm not sure how or off that congress out but it seems to hold the button on the recoil spring from going forward to be able to remove dust cover.

Anyone see anything like this? How does it work before I start beating on it. I was told it was a Yugoslavia. I've only handled Russian and Chinese aks before so I apologize for my ignorance

  I have not seen one with the release pin before but looked like just pushing in it a bit releases the cover lock

  you can also do some more searching I know would if mine but looks simple enough

  Does it have a side folding triangle or full stock?

  Can you post a picture of what you are looking at? Sounds familiar but I'm drawing a blank. I think you push the button in and then push the back of recoil spring assembly into the top cover and disassemble like you would a normal AK.
