Just got back from southern Oregon.
Holy cow is it nice to be back to clean mountain air! We were in the Rogue Valley where the cities of Ashland, Talent, Pheonix, and Medford are located. The entire area reeks of pot. REEKS! You get the smell from the acres and acres of commercially cultivated weed and then you get the stink in the residential areas from everybody that lights one up in the evening. It's a miracle anyone down there can string together a coherent sentence.

That's just terrible. I don't really care for Oregon. At least here there's not a lot of pot growing on the coast... It's destroying the country.

Go to downtown Medford park at midnight and get to see the real city. I hear it is quite a "show."

I remember when the Surgeon General's report on smokeing tobacco came out and how hard it hit smokers who had been told "it's good for you!" but found it causes cancer.
I wonder how long it will be before a similar report comes out on MJ.

My wife and I try to make it a point to drive up through Lithia Park in Ashland when we get down that way. It's like goin' through a hippy zoo what with all the weirdness that goes on in there.

Inhaling superheated air alone is very bad for the lungs. Add those particulates and it gets worse. Drag it deep and hold it in and it can be worse than a cigarette. The only salvation is that very few can toke 20 or more a day. If you gotta, edibles are the answer.

I'm probably among the few people that can honestly say, I have never smoked Marijuana. I have never consumed any illegal narcotics ever!!!. Just never saw the fun in it. I was offered medical marijuana for my back, but turned it down. Doc said to try edibles. Uh, NO. I would rather suffer in pain. I have friends and relatives that smoke enough for all of us, just not for me. My wife eats edibles to sleep, because she has chronic insomnia. She hates them, but it allows her to sleep. She sleeps about three to four hours a week!! Not day, week. I don't know how people can function like that,

Your Wife, sounds about like me (in re. to Sleep) @Oakie. Me and @Ditch-Runner are (unfortunately) in the same boat there. It's getting really bad/worse. I'm about to contact my VA Primary Care Physician to change/try a different Sleep Med. The Doxepin (sp?) Is Not working. I have one I have heard about, (Quvivec) that is supposed to be specifically for "Over-Active Minds," (my problem.) I just can not get my brain to shut down at night. Anyone here have any experience with it? (Or) Anything else that works for you.

I'm about to contact my VA Primary Care Physician to change/try a different Sleep Med. The Doxepin (sp?) Is Not working. I have one I have heard about, (Quvivec) that is supposed to be specifically for "Over-Active Minds," (my problem.) I just can not get my brain to shut down at night.
