Looking for a rifle scope with needed features.
I am seeking a Rifle scope for precision rimfire Benchrest shooting. It MUST be no more than 6.5X on the low end and as high as possible (up to 50X) on the high end. The reticle MUST be a thin cross hair with a very small dot.
The frustration of finding a scope like this is over the top. I don't care what NAME or PART number they give a reticle, I want to see the darn thing, few makers show you a picture of their reticles. You have to guess what it is or search for it on the web. A 6.5X 14 is almost useless, I need more upper magnification.
Any ideas???

Get closer to your to your target and you won’t need such high power! 😄😄

It must be variable. One discipline requires a max of 6.5X another shot with the same rifle has no upper limit.

I have one of these and am very pleased with it. Reticle is duplex but the inner crosshairs are spiderweb-thin and the dot is 1/8 MOA.

Go with a lower power scope and higher power glasses.

Thanks, that would work for sure but it would be better if the top magnification was higher.

With due respect, it's been my experience that high (20+) magnification can be counterproductive., My favorite (now deceased) riflesmith once told me, "turn it down to twelve power and you'll shoot phenomenal groups". He was right. Too much magnification can make every heartbeat or flick of an eyelid throw you off.
