Well the game tonight
started off well with our national anthem not being murdered by urbanization. Still, Monday Night's game isn't the same without Hank Jr.

He still owes me $14 for my ticket to his concert where he showed up drunk. He started playing other people's songs and the band walked off stage.

Yeah jimdeere, he has led an interesting (?) life. I remember about 5 years ago going to TN to sell my full auto items to a dealer. I couldn't drive back to Indy the same day so stopped to stay in a motel off the interstate. I wandered into a little bar close by and there was a small front porch w/ 3 older guys leaning back on wooden chairs. It was a movie seen! Went in and ordered a beer. Everyone in the place looked at me like who is this punk. I went to the jukebox and played some Hank Jr, and Willie. It was like night and day. Folks started talking to me and one even bought me a beer. Some little things like that I'll never forget.
