Please take a look at this and edukateme about this one.
It says it has a 'transfer bar' ala-Ruger - but is that a S&W style lock on the back of the grip?????

Looks like it's just a screw to hold the brass backstrap to the steel frame.

I don't think Henry knows much about lowering the bore axis.

Agree Mr. Perfect. My old wrist couldn't take that punishment. On a side note, Casey sold my .357 Mateba a couple of years ago. It fired from the lower chamber and the difference between it and my Ruger Blackhawk was amazing.

I don't know what a lever action revolver is.

Not sure, but I personally don't like the looks of the gun at all. It just looks cheap/different??? Not sure which, maybe both.

Perusing the Henry website, they don't either.

I haven't actually seen a Henry revolver but they look cheap. And overall the new Henry Rifles look cheap.

Agree with Oakie & Toad.

Looks like an RG 38 and an Arminius 357 got together in the turtle box to me.

Many Thanks to you all for bringing me up to speed on this one. Best Regards - AQH

My local gun store has a few and It doesn't look any nicer up close. It's also surprisingly heavy.

The latest Shooting Times Magazine gave them a good review, we'll see how they sell. One thing interesting about them was that they came with 3 different front sight heights.

In all my years, I can count on the fingers of one hand the total number of gun review articles I have seen in magazines that DID NOT like the gun.

You are right truthful. It's called biting the hand that feeds you.

Has a gun rag ever done anything than give their sponsors and advertisers a glowing review?

What like Volcanic?
Kevin_L - So is Henry revolver the Hi-Point? I hear 10mm Hi-Point is a heavy brick.

Heavy brick describes the Henry quite well. It may appeal to some, but I didn't like it.

It was a good review, with some not so great things also, not a stellar review by any means.
