Leverevolution loading 38-55
I have some leverevolution from hodgdon.
so WITH A 255 GR. LEAD CAST Im looking for starting Leverevolution start and max 38-55 any ideas

I just made some up with 24.5 gr LR. ( one 1.6cc dipper ) I will post results

fired fine from a H&R single shot. I also loaded 24.5 gr in 25-35 and wow its a hunting load

5744 and unique work very well with cast bullets in all my dash calibers and I use less of it than I would with other powders. 20 grains of 5744 behind a Lee 375 in my '94 Winchester Big Bore is almost as good as 10 grains of Unique. Sadly both of these numbers are getting hard to find. For the 25-35 My Texas Contender carbine likes 29 grs. of3031 behind a 100 gr. Sierra B.T. BTW, it has an old Weaver 4X DOT scope on it.
