"AR 10's are too big and heavy..."

    That's what she said...

    Heard/Read that earler this evening.

Based on the AR, they found discarded, near his vehicle/the boat launch area.

They (Media/LEO) are claiming it is a .308.

Thinking the same thing Mobuck. I have been trying to justify buying one for a while now.

Looks interesting, and not a bad price, all things considered. Longevity would be my concern but time will tell.

    Maybe I misunderstood?

I thought you were talking about the Weapon the Maine shooter used. They are claiming it was an AR-10 or an AR-15 in .308. That is what they found near the discarded vehicle. (According to LEO's.)

*I had read a review on that POF AR-15 in .308, about 4-6 mo. ago in "Firearm News." (I believe.) Possibly another magazine that I have "Recoil."

    They liked it. 👍

They do not give ALL good reviews, by the way.

Translated by the inept media, any black rifle is an AR-15.

Although I'm a 'Ruger guy', the SFAR has a checkerboard reputation. Sort of like transplanting a big block into a Chevy VEGA.

    Ruger SFAR?

Yeah that one too. I look at it this way: is it a Ford F-150 if you drop a Chevy 350 engine in it?

It's kind of related. That's what prompted me to find the above.

I always Loved, taking a small vehicle and shoehorning a HP V-8 into it.

    Right @Ditch-Runner?

    Practical? No. Lottsa Fun? Yep.

*Big Block Vega's Ruled the Drag strip for a few years.

An AR 15 in .308 doesn't exist it can only be an AR 10.
