Channel cat, Flathead cat.

It's unseasonably warm and dry, but the fishing is good. We caught about 20 flathead and 1 channel cat.

    Beautiful fish. We use to catch channel cats with all smelly shrimp. We would buy the shrimp and let it sit in the sun for a day or two. My lord did they ever stink, but man did they catch fish.

    What are flatheads??? We don't have them here. Well at least I don't think we do. We most catch bass and pickerel here. Salt water, we are catching big stripers right now. Caught a 27" the other night. They are a slot fish, so we had to toss him back. Can only keep them from 28" to 36" . One guy on the jetty caught a 49 and a Half inch striper. That was the biggest one I have ever seen.
