Possibly relevant to some here: what can you do when a mob surrounds your car?
Washington Gun Law president covers what you're likely allowed to do when a mob surrounds your car. I thought this would be helpful for some.
Now, I do realize some y'all live out in the toolies and will never see a big city with a spotting scope. Others of you are nearer one. Well, this for the latter, not the former.

Something to keep in mind if you find yourself in such a situation is that many newer cars have collision avoidance systems that automatically apply the brakes when they detect you're about to run into something. I read a story on another forum about someone that couldn't make a getaway from a bad situation due to the car applying the brakes automatically when it detected a protester in front of it. I guess once he got away he figured out how he could turn the system off so he wouldn't have issues like that again.

My vehicles are not that new. If I hit the gas, it goes! If I have a credible fear that me or my occupants are in danger then you better move because my truck or suv WILL be going forward at a fast pace!
Just sayin'

My comprehensive insurance will cover the damage to my vehicle.

Is that guy the attorney in Seattle who specializes in getting drunk drivers off of their DUI arrests ?

Where are the mobs found?
Answer : Large DEMOCRAT controlled cites, where they are allowed to roam and pillage freely.
Bottom line: Avoid these places at all cost. If you injure anyone in the mob: YOU can be prosecuted; not the mob member.

Good video, @Mr. Perfect gives points to think about. I feel this video covers most states but understand that he can't / won't say that.
Even with brakes applied the car will still move. Not fast, but I believe it will still move forward and fall right into what was stated in the video. The tires may squeal and even smoke (we use to purposely 'brake torque' in my younger days) consider this your 'warning shot'.
I think the video was well done. Thanks for it
