    I bought one of those Kentucky rifle kits back in the early '70's. I used a Birchwood Casey Browning kit. It turned out pretty nice.

    The wood on the Kentucky rifle and pistol kits seems nicer than other kits. I don't know if it's a coincidence or authentic or what.

    I have heard that the early CVA Mountain rifle (made in the USA) had G.R. Douglas barrels. I consider this the best CVA ever offered.

    The CVA Hawken pistol and rifle both were made in the USA. All the other kits made in Spain.
